Oh please. Stop hailing the TW3 as "real" fantasy, as though we never had it in video games until CDPR was born and saved us all. It's one take on it, and it does it well, but it is no more immersive or authentic because of it. It's simply one style choice. How much swearing and sexuality was in the original Gold Box games, Bard's Tale, the Ultima series, Baldur's Gate, etc.? We had games with better stories and immersion back then compared to most of today's games without going "try-hard" hardcore as a way to make it authentic.
