is there a way to make mead so as to make the dwarfen mayor to open up!
I can find no place to buy this mead

You buy it from a dwarf in the village.

His name is Rimmer I think, he's in the building with hay near the doorway on the left side of the village.

Nope there is NO mead in the game. Even the "one" you buy from Rimmer is ale. But it works.

Joliekiller, paladin on a crusade against (almost) all evil.
