Alright, when I see the screen shots on this website, the graphics look perfect, but in reality, and this could just be my computer hence why I'm writting, the graphics on my computer have a "black outline" around all of the charactors...Is this normal??? Iv'e played the game a lot like this, in fact if I can find that damn lizard and dwarf I might be done. If everyone else's system doesn't have this, I'm really going to feel bad.... Any help would be awesome..

Hi Jake25, In what resolution are you playing? Best is to play in 800x600. To find the dwarf and the lizard, you can check out this thread: Council Members Quests - SPOILERS

Hey, yes, it's 800x600, and I'm using a brand new computer, windows XP, good graphics card, the hole enchalada...but, every charactor, and every inadimate object has a "black squard outling" around it. At first I thought it was cheap graphics from the game, but I don't think this is the case..... Can someone help me with this. Maybe I should re-download it, but I'm afraid I'd loose my saved game..

maybe try to play around with the software direct3d directx settings or maybe turn fog off and quality down a notch or 2, i had that problem with square looking boxes around the outer edges of the screen, so maybe adjusting some of those settings will help!

Oh, re-install; that should not be necessary. If you did have to, the un-install program asks you if you would like to keep the saved games and settings, and you can copy/zip all of the folders in the '..\Divine Divinity\Run\savegames' folder to back them up. From the readme file; Problem: Black squares appear around the imagery in the game Cause: Your video card does not support color keying. Solution: Turn on the alpha bit in the configuration tool.

Start/Programs/divineDivinity/configure Div = look at the screen then, lower part: Use Alpha bit. Put in a check mark - test - Apply&close. Kiya

WOW!! It's like playing an entirely different game!! Thanks alot for the help...By the way, since this seems like a good time, maybe someone can help me with a few things....It would save me alot of time... 1. Some Imp stoled my teleport stones when I entered Stormfist.. Does anyone know where I can find him?
2. I need to find Genemoe the lizard to complete the coucil of 7. Does anyone know where he is?.. He left the Blue Board Inn already.
3. Does anyone know where the dwarf is for the council of 7?
4. I have the sword, and amulet for 2 of the 3 items that I'm suppose to join together. Does anyone know where the third is?
Thanks for any and all help...I really apreciate it!!

Imp: Free Zandalor after you're thrown out of the castle. NW in the Council Hall is a room with this imp. ![[Linked Image]](http://kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Councilhall.jpg) Goemoe: Did you inform Zandalor about his leave? If so, look into the scrying statue. Dwarf Eolus is the 6th member you may recruit. Scrying statue then should show the Dwarven village/Rivertown Dagger: Thieves guild/Ducal Inn/Verdistis. Look for Rob's room there, book on a table with what you need. Kiya

Kiya, thanks for the help!!! You Rock!!
One quick question..... I now have all three artifacts, the sword, the dagger, and the amulet, and I'm in the right place, the underground area by the church. I went down, killed the 4 undead monsters, and then nothing happens... I tried putting the three in different area of the room, like the two cirles outlined on the floor in front of the statue, but nothing happens. In fact, when I do put the artifacts on the floor, a womens voice says " You need all three artifacts for the power" But, when I pick them up again, nothing happens!! Any help would be awesome...Thanks!!

Oh, dear, hope you can reload: There was a book in the Cursed Abbey warning you to not disturb the Dead = you did it - so no sacrifice, except by reloading Kiya
After reloading: Keep all 3 items in your inventory and just stand in the right circle. The left one will then contain your end item after you told the statue your choice.
