pen and paper is the BEST way to play an RPG game. I have played for almost 20 yrs now. Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms are my favorite worlds. I am not sure why, but Ravenloft STILL gives me nightmares. I moved away from the group that I played with and they are still at it. This was the theme for my bachlor party, that was one hell of a night. I hope everyone that is looking for a group to play with finds one.
