You mean some reason like the cost of manufacturing, shipping, licensing, etc, and having a portion of the proceeds going to the publisher and retail or online distributors?
I have never heard of a game released on the PC being ported over to consoles increasing in price.
This game is going to make it's money on digital downloads from SONY and MS. Copies will be few and far between in stores. And licensing fee's for consoles are not priced at $20 per payer - unless they only expect to sell a few thousand copies.
It's a price hike that they've yet to explain and anyone who seems to ask about it get's an eyeroll or a "Omg this game is worth the increase!"
