I have the exact same problem! So frustrating. I've got all the latest drivers installed and Divinity Original Sin worked fine on my computer before - just not the Enhanced Edition for some reason. My error message says:
"Failed to create rendering device!
The application failed to create the rendering device. Please make sure you meet the minimum specifications! (DX11 Compatible GPU with the latest drivers installed)"
