Hey there!

Its time to play DOS again, which means that it is time to think of an adequate party again!

Here is what I thought.

As there are three attributes that effect skill success rates (Str, Dex, Int), my party should consist of three people, i.e., one party member will be a Lone Wolf, and I will recruit one NPC (probably Jahan, since he is quite versatile for a starting party and I like him most.)

My party will thus consist of a fighter(-mage), a rogue(-ranger) and a mage(-support). Should I include a fourth character and drop the lone wolf idea?

If not, who should be Lone Wolf? Who should go for Glass Cannon? (Now that its incompatible) Should the lone wolf eventually be the main crafter?

Other considerations: The mage should have leadership (because he least profits from it). The fighter should have Pet Pal, because he will be the leader of the party and do the talking. I usually favoured Bully for the fighter, but it seems to have been nerfed; is it still worth it?

Magic schools: Fighter should focus on pyromancing, rogue on geomancing in order to allow for midnight oil/flare combo on first round of battle. Mage should focus on air/water and perhaps witchcraft. Put the rest in crafting.

I welcome any comments!
