Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Is 110 dmg the best to be found?

I just finished the game tonight and noticed that 110 dmg is the best I have seen. I notice too that there are less sword drops (I have read this is random per chest) than other weapons.

I think swords are the most common drops in game, actually. Eh.

I'm doing something like 90 damage with my sword and together with all the bonuses from fire, spiritual, lightning, etc...damage I sometimes get over 200 damage with one blow. My sword has something like 70 - 90 base damage. If I look at the damage my sword does (you know when you hit someone) I sometimes see numbers in red that are way above 110 (sometimes even 156 or something in that region). I do not really know how it work exactly.

With the 110 do you mean the max base damage of a sword?
