Maybe something was done about Lucky Find, I think they said they rebalanced it and introduced new kind of loot (but I might be wrong).
Anyway, please don't say ridiculous stuff.
I would like to agree with you, because I like "rewarding players who go above their paygrade", but that just wasn't the case much in Original Sin.
1ー) It's true bosses chests usually gave good loot, but not always. And now loot is more or less fixed so reloading changes nothing. Play a little more and tell your experience once you've slain a little more stuff. Maybe you're right, but your example is really anecdotal.
2ー) Personally, in two different new games now, I noticed merchants sell epic stuff (purple) at low levels quite often. I suspect loot has somewhat changed (see my opening remark), but it's not a drought.
3ー) Achieving goals above your paygrade is, and has been, severely limited in Original Sin, due to how hit rating works.
Do you even read what I write above? I'm currently at level six, and I have a single purple item, which I had to pay for. Now, who's ridiculous? You, or me?
