That's a reasonable stance to have Neonivek, but different from what freeportaa insisted in the opening post.

Why are these words considered crude at all? Up until the mid 15th century, official documents in England were all written in Latin, not English. Speaking a Norman language such as French or Latin was a sign of having an education.

Swear words existed to distinguish classes. An educated person would say "defecate" (Latin), while the working class would say "shit" (German/English). Swear words were used to identify the people who should be excluded from the upper classes.

This is outdated (even the US president is on the record swearing in an audio book he recorded). We are generally much more educated and more egalitarian, so swear words are becoming less taboo. With greater social mobility, the impact of George Carlin's dirty words has been fading away.

Modern swear words (eg the notorious N-word) reflect our changing society. In a world that is increasingly focused on inclusiveness, words that exclude or vilify minorities are becoming increasingly offensive. I would certainly encourage Larian to avoid using these modern swear words, but I really feel that George Carlin's swear words should be fair game.
