So I bought the windows version of this game, but when I went to buy the mac version so I could play with my girlfriend, GoG, Steam, etc only sell windows versions of the game. And I cannot seem to find any sites that will even sell a mac cd-key version...

Is it sold out? Discontinued? Or do these sites just not bother to sell the mac version?

That's because of the EE, it doesn't support Mac.

If you want to play the old version now instead of waiting for the Mac EE to come out, you could pickup a retail disc copy of the game.

Or just wait for the Enhanced Mac version.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. Is there a huge difference between the old version and the enhanced edition? can an old version play with the enhanced edition?

It's a big difference, they are incompatible.
