Do these Abilities stack?

No. Wands do (not that it's worth using), but not single-handed.

Dual-wielded 1hand weapons (preferably axes) already do the most damage out of anything in the game with 4/5 dualwield skill, 5/5 of course drops the AP cost to 3 increasing the damage-per-AP even further.

It truly doesn't stack? That's weird that there is a double standard with wands.

It would be nice if there was some sort of warning on the tooltips for one or the other. I'm playing on classic mode with a friend and we both went lone wolf, and i have quite a few points into both >_<

So if a character dual wields swords/daggers/axes/etc. the game only takes into account his dual wielding stat, and not his single-handed stat?

This'll save me some skill points, thanks!

Also of note, the damage penalty for dual-wielding applies to both weapons, not just the one in your off-hand.

I believe the mainhand does full damage, while the offhand is penalized. Does that mean the mainhand will deal increasing damage at each level that lessens the DW penalty? Makes sense that they aren't letting it double dip then.

Wish the tooltips were a little more clear.

I tested dual-wielding versus single-handed and wrote down the numbers which happened. Two tests, ten shots each, (40 shots total).

When dual-wielding, both wands were in about the same approximate damage range, which was clearly a lower range than single-wielding. If only the offhand had a penalty while the main hand had full damage, then I should have seen higher damage with the main hand compared to the off-hand, about at the same range as single-wielding. That was not the case.

(One of these tests was with Wands and Dual-Wielding at 1 and the other was with Wands and Dual-Wielding at 0.)

Stabby can you confirm if putting points into 1 handed increases damage while dual wielding??

The one main complaint I'd have about larian is the lack of information on how mechanics are done

I can't, but other people can confirm that it does not.

It was confirmed by a dev.

It does work with wands but not with other weapon types.
