Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems stamina drain

sorry that this is my first actual post... i will soon drop by the general chat area and say hello to all, but for now i will just have to say hello in this post... soo..... hello... lol... but anyway, i'm having a problem that is quite frustrating as i have no idea what i've done to cause this, but i dont think it's a human error of any sort (unless you consider those that made this game to be human... i know i dont <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />). So my problem is that my fighter's stamina is constantly going down, even when i stand still. even when my inventory is empties out, even when all my equipment is dropped on the floor, even when i do nothing to go to the washroom. this only happened recently after i finished the cursed abbey and my character is about a level 26, i'm pretty sure. so i'm clueless as to what i've done, as once again, i dont think it was my fault. but ah well... any pointers? any leads? any suggestions?

There is a Halberd of the Rock with a description like 'there is something strange about this weapon' in the cursed Abbey, which will drain your stamina. Check your weapon inventory, and drop or sell it.
