I'm just wondering if anyone is running the enhanced edition on this chipset? I did a bit of research and figured I'd probably get a reasonable framerate in the original edition but I notice that the min requirements are different for the enhanced edition.

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth me buying. I'm using a laptop that has an i5 2.5ghz and 6GB of RAM. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

Enhanced Edition runs better than the original version due to 64bit and DX11. Just make sure you install the chipset drivers and set the energy options to full performance.

I'm running EE on a mid-2012 macbook air 5,2 with "Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB", "1.8 GHz Intel Core i5", and 8gb (booted into windows 8). It runs very satisfyingly for me. I do believe I updated drivers, and I do believe I set the energy options to max performance, and I think I have the game options set to "low" graphics quality. I do believe EE under windows is running more smoothly than non-EE was under OSX. Maybe one day I'll have a real windows laptop; until then it's working pretty well for this game at least.
