I'm own the game on the XBox One, and the last time I went to boot up a save file, it wasn't where I left the game. I had thought I simply forgot to save. However, after playing a couple hours, saving, and coming back to it, the files were once again at the previous state as when I first booted up the game, losing the last couple hours of play.

I've tried looking up information but didn't find anything on my specific issue. I want to play, but this was pretty discouraging. Is there anyone who can help or inform me on this issue?

That's really strange. It kind of sounds like the Luculla Forest bug, but that bug makes your save files unusable it doesn't alter them. I contacted tech support about the next patch and they didn't have an ETA for it, but they estimated that it would be mid December before we got another patch on consoles.

It is quite strange, the first time I've seen anything like that in any game. I went ahead and started a new game assuming it's the file itself. I need to look into the Luculla bug to see what I might be in for.

Thank you, I appreciate the response. Let's see what the patch fixes, if they do drop one.

My saves became corrupted and unusable, and I wasn't even in Luculla Forest yet.
