Great game! Been doing RPGs, both pen&paper and computer for 30+ years... Which makes me "older."

Unfortunately my eyes are not what they were even 10 years ago.

I was very pleased to find the key that highlights items on the ground, but was *very* upset that this doesn't highlight containers.

While some containers are obvious, having a third person isometric view and darker environments (i.e., dungeons) makes many *very* difficult to see.

I play these games to have fun - especially for the story, character development (stat/abilities/equipment), and tactical combat (love turn based). I *don't* enjoy struggling to remember who gave me quests, manually making notes/mapping, or struggling to see things on the screen.

For us "older" (and somewhat visually impaired) gamers, please PLEASE give us the option to highlight containers (and any other important objects).

My struggling eyes will thank you... And I probably won't be able to play this game without it...

And it looks great, so I really want to...

While it might not be the perfect solution, you could try playing it with a controller.

That way you get a console interface which is generally much larger and you have the ability to search areas instead of clicking on every item.

The problem with the contr4oller, ios not only do you still haev to 'see' the container, but you must physically move to each one before clicking it.,. Whereas with m+kb, you can click, and the action i s completed for you..I personally couldnt stand using the controller, and i also miss some of te containers...

I wish the Alt key was a toggle, rather then a press & hold.... Or an option to have it either way atleast..Not that the toggle would be any different, but im sure some would find a way to be upset..I find that im walking around constantly holding Alt, and it would rather just press and forget.. Those that dont like the toggle, could simply use it as it is.. on/off, instead of a constant depress..

I'm an older player as well (over 60) and find that using the tactical view (B key) makes it easier to spot containers when mousing around as they become white outlined. Also the regular view for stacked containers but rotate the camera to see in corners. Hope this helps.

One of my character always has "Walk in Shadows" + telekinesis. This make sit incredibly easy to steal/loot items using mouse + keyboard. Meanwhile, with the game's default controller interface and the "search area" radius thingy, it makes it incredibly painful and frustrating, because the controller interface really becomes an impediment to telekinesis.

However, what I have done is to use Xpadder to map the mouse + keyboard controls, which allows me to use my Xbox controller, instead of using the game's default controller support. I use left trigger for the "show all" key, which makes it quite intuitive. Alternatively, one can turn it (or any button on your controller) into a toggle using Xpadder so you don't have to hold down the key.

Although there is no way to "show all" containers, sadly.
