Okay, found some of the missing gold. (Thanks Raze)
I'm still having an issue however with vendors. Sometimes (this does not happen all the time) I click on something to purchase. I then click the icon for balance it with gold/pay for it with gold.
I see the gold vanish from my total---but it never gets added to the screen where it shows my side-vs-vendor side.
So it vanishes and I click "accept" and get the usual "insulted by offer". Sure the gold is gone from my purse, but it never transfers to the vendor.
I've been bartering for a bit of stuff now. Gold seems to be twichey....
