Just got the game for my son & I for Christmas. 2 copies for XB1. Installed & got ready to play multiplayer. Nothing. Every attempt to invite/join each other's games simply results in "connection failed". Tried to join any other public game just to verify the functionality - but no public games show up on the list. Something is seriously wrong here.
Before posting I saw the other thread related to this - but it is currently buried on page 2 and sinking. It says a patch that MIGHT fix this is coming, but probably not until the new year. Very disappointing. I haven't seen a game have a problem with basic networking functionality in a long, long time. Plus, this game is marketed as a co-op experience.
PS - I do have Comcast internet, as is mentioned in the other thread, but no problems whatsoever with any other game - XB1 or PC. It is not Comcast's fault.
