I cannot load save games that were created when playing on Linux (Ubuntu).
Get a signal 11 crash
It appears that the save is corrupted, I can start a new game and it works fine.

Game crashed

Thread "EoCApp"

Signal:11
0 libpthread
1 libc.so.6
2 RSA::MD5Digest
3 ls::DataHasher::BuildHash
4 eoc::SavegameSanity::Verify
5 eoc::GameStateLoadSession:Do()

Workaround:
If loaded and re-saved using windows I can then load the save on Ubuntu and continue playing.
It will give a warning about a potential bad file.

System:
Ubuntu 15.10
GTX 670

Possible way to reproduce:
If you start a new game on a Windows PC, then continue the same game on a (Linux) Ubuntu PC, then save the game, it will corrupt the save file and you get the error message above.
it appears that this is caused between operating systems.

If i start a new game on Ubuntu without loading on another operating system i can save and load fine.

Any help appreciated.

Yep, I'm also seeing this. Saves which were synced via the Steam cloud from my Windows machine load and work fine but the game will crash whenever I try to load a save created on Linux.

I'll create a bug report for this.

Just FYI the games saved on Linux also crash the Windows client so the problem is probably in the saving code and not the loading.

Same problem here as well. Started on Windows 10 (coop with another Windows 10 PC) and switched to Linux Mint. All games saved since then give the corrupted message. Loading one of them in Windows actually crashes the game and that savegame then crashes the Linux version as well.

We don't have any issues so far continuing using the Linux savegames though.
