So I'm still pretty new to the game and I started out with an Inquisitor (Aero/Hydro) and a Knight. Most of the time when my Knight is in combat, she'll get shocked (and stunned) by my Inquisitor's regular attack because of the blood+aero wand. How do I avoid this? Should I just make another Inquisitor that isn't Aero?

Switch to a different wand, with a different elemental damage, be more careful about blood or water your other character may be standing it, boost that character's Willpower and/or air resistance. There are also talents you can take that would help, but they require level 5 in the applicable abilities, and you can keep an eye out for equipment that may grant an immunity.

Elemental effects are neutral. It works for every living creature.
Do you know a proverb: Fire is good slave but bad master.

Thats it, when you unleash powers, it could backfire. If its rain, you can zap couple opponents with one basic spell. But if you are in the water pudlle too, well you would be durable or keep consequences.
