No, not that I know of.
The Teller of Secrets not having the compendium books any more (after you trade with her, don't buy the books and then go up a level) is one of the fixes that required a change to story, so can only safely be applied to a new game.
Does that mean that the bug where the Teller of Secrets does not have the book even on the first encounter is still not fixed?
Or that it can only be fixed by starting a new game?
