As the post above says i know that it's not your fault raze, But how can a company your size only employ 1 network programmer?? also since he is the one responsible for the problem in the first place(don't tell me he's not it's his job) surely he should be at work trying to fix the issue not taking time off!!!

Hi PS4 owner here. While I am not experiencing the same issues as the XBOX I have been locked out of the game entirely because of game ending bugs. It is quite obvious that the console ports were rushed and received little to no playtesting before release. How does a game make it to release with NO ONE noticing that the multiplayer does not work? How can a playtester miss the fact that ALL WANDS ARE FIRE WANDS, or the fact that half the crafting supplies are unavailable at vendors as they should be? How does a playtester miss the fact that crafting recipes are not available in the crafting interface or the fact that EVERY RANDOM CRAFTING BOOK IN THE GAME IS STRING ENTHUSIAST 1? How does a playtester miss the fact that the PS4 crashes constantly and that saves are being corrupted? How does a playtester miss the Twin Dungeons bug?

Do the developers even own a PS4 or Xbox to test this game? This is by far the most buggy and frustrating experience I've had on the PS4 and just so happens the game cost me $60.

While the timing certainly isn't great, it isn't always possible to coordinate time off with a release of uncertain timeframes, and he could be off to go to a wedding, or something, that couldn't be rescheduled.

A couple of programmers did look into this yesterday a bit, but to say anything definitively, the network programmer will need to do so.

You would think with it being 3 months after release and the game being riddled with bugs the programmers would be in emergency mode working overtime. There doesn't seem to be any hurry at all to fix the issues posted in these forums.

Raze, how many months would you say is acceptable to wait? We did pay full price for this game after all and the fixes seem nowhere in sight. 4 months? 6 months? A year? Should we just give up and be happy about the money we spent on this game?

I for one would either like a steam key to play the game that way, or a refund. I'd prefer the former, but would be ok with the latter. At this point I've just been fleeced of $60 (and my brother another 60$), paying for a game that promised features it can't seem to deliver. I believe Larian has a responsibility to us who purchased their product, and if they feel otherwise they should know that companies have been subject to class action lawsuits in similar cases.

Can I have my money refunded for my Xbox One copy please. We have been very patient on this board but this is ridiculous. This issue is never getting fixed. Please let me know how I can go about getting a refund. Thanks.

So I saw the game was patched finally. Can confirm, friend and I aren't able to play yet. Tested it with another friend and neither of us could play either. He went out and tested multiplayer with my other friend. Didn't work.

This is just hilariously pathetic at this point. You guys need to give out refunds for our Xbox One copies. We've been fleeced and have been extraordinarily patient with your product. It's especially frustrating when you were one of the original kickstarters and have enjoyed the PC version. I got my friends to purchase the game after the positive experience on PC. I've done my fair share of word of mouth for you guys and now I just feel like a dumbass for trusting Larian.

I know you guys are human beings and should be proud of the game everybody worked on. However, at this rate we may not see a fix for another 3 months and I simply don't care anymore.

It's very frustrating, i want my money back too... I've the ticket to proove my purchase !

It's written on the back of the case : coop xbox live : 2 players !

It is what i call a false advertesing, we could file a complaint for this...

The error code has allowed the network programmer to determine the cause of the problem; it is something to do with the ID of the Xbox (the address), and should be fixed in the next patch.

We apologize that this is taking so long. Since we were unable to reproduce it in a development environment, the current patch had to be released to be able to determine where the problem is.

Is there any way we can fix this on our end? Or does it have to be done in a patch? And if it has to be done in a patch is there any chance that happens soon? Or are we looking at another 3 month wait?

Unfortunately, there isn't a workaround possible, so the fix will need to wait until the next update. There is no ETA yet.

So thanks for waiting, but now wait some more cos we have no clue how to sort out our shoddy work??? REALLY is this the best you can do after this amount of time no eta on a fix that should have been sorted out before release.
At what point do think some sort of compensation is appropriate after all the game is advertised as multi player which is clearly not the case!!!! c'mon you guys sort out your sh** , we all like to game but want to play it the way it was advertised not leave it sat gathering dust on a shelf

b2t: Is it possible that the coop online problem is regional?

Yesterday i played it with an buddy without any problems. We come from Germany.

Are there different servers for the different countries?

I'm not sure how the Xbox servers are set up. It is possible if you are having trouble with some friends and not others, that the problem is just on the other end when it doesn't work.

Ok. Thougt it would be interesting for the network programmer that Germany has no problems to play coop multiplayer online. smile

Hope for the people who have still problems, that will be found an fix for there problem soon. wink

I don't think there were any regional patterns with the people who ran into this problem.
