Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition Cordelia's bone totem

So I have Cordelia's diary, but I don't have the bone totem and I apparently need these two items to do that thing in the pentagram in the basement of that house in Hunter's Edge. I hope it isn't the same bone totem I destroyed in the Luculla Mines. I've also checked all the merchants I have been using recently in case I had absent-mindedly sold it off, but none of them have it. Am I missing something? I don't even remember getting the diary, so if they were both on her person it would stand to reason that it should still be wherever I killed her (that house in Hunter's Edge?) or in my inventory.

Cordelia should have had the totem on her, while the diary was in her house (south of the tavern). It should show up in the Miscellaneous inventory category.

Okay, I wasn't keeping my NPCs straight. She was right under my nose the whole time. Is it really supposed to be next to impossible to get that thing positioned in the center of the pentagram? I can't click and drag it like I have been able to do with placing barrels, I can't teleport it and there is no rhyme or reason whatsoever to where a character drops items from their inventory.

Until the totem is in the circle and activated, you should be able to click and drag it; after that you can not move it or pick it up again.
