So my digital copy of the game became so unplayable that it would crash with quicksave, autosave, and hard saves. So I got a refund from PSN, and I went out and bought a brand new hard copy of the game hoping that would fix the issue. How wrong I was. It crashes just as much as the digital copy. I even deactivated autosaves. Started over with brand new save files. Crashes every other hard save I make. How did this product ever pass QA on PS4? This can't be an isolated issue only known to me. I even went as far as having my PS4 database rebuilt by PSN tech to make sure my hard drive wasn't corrupt. Don't have this issue with any of the other games I have but Divinty seems to be crashing regardless of what copy you own. Is there ANY chance of this getting patched as I really love this game and want to play it. But for fawk sakes I've lost well over a weeks worth of progression time wise now just from the game crashing by trying to save the game. sad

There is another update in the works (no ETA yet).
This isn't an isolated issue, but it also isn't very common, and was not observed during internal testing or the separate certification processes for Sony in Europe and North America. It took a couple of people providing saves, one with a detailed description of actions taken before trying to save again, in order to track down and fix that problem. There is also a separate issue still being investigated, AFAIK.

For the new game, try exiting the game and restarting after you save. Does that avoid the crash on the next save? It would be a PITA workaround, but short of waiting for the next update, would take less time than what you would loose with the crashes.
