I did get a reply fairly quickly. (From Raze himself actually, I am quite impressed with his promptness and courtesy)
The gist of it was a thank-you note for sending them a copy of my save-file to look at in an attempt to determine the issue.
I'm hoping that next patch comes out swiftly so that myself and my S.O. can get back to playing some Co-op, but I wasn't given a specific time-frame for such.
