From the Kickstarter FAQ:
Right now, we're focusing on Windows only. Additional platforms may be announced in the future.
Believe us, it's not that we're not interested in producing a version for Mac/Linux/Console, it's just that we want to get the gameplay and world fleshed out in all the detail that it needs first. Once we have the game fully worked out, we'll start looking at porting it to other platforms. That’s not something that’ll happen during the Kickstarter or indeed this year.
But - and it’s an important but - we do have most things in place to support several other platforms, since we are starting work from the Divinity: Original Sin- Enhanced Edition engine. We just don’t want to make any promises yet.
Still didnt answer the question, only said we dont know in detail what game we making so we dont know untill its completed if we will then port it to other platforms.
Either way looking on the history dosee came 1 year later so if it might happen i guess end of 2017 is an expected release date.

Not exactly, depending on the size of the game and what is promised. So far, there are a couple things holding the game from consoles:
First, one of the Kickstarter rewards was official mod support. Although this really wouldn't affect console players all that much, it is certainly a factor that could affect the sales. Although I do admit I love the Console controls for the Enhanced Edition, modding support for an already great game can end up being a major factor in the PC sales. Console Developers are kind of afraid of mods, because it's pretty easy to use mods to install hacks that can alter aspects of the consoles the Devs didn't intend. Long story short, Console Makers have a good reason to lob this from the console version.
Second, Larian is smart to start out with the PC version, because the end product might exceed what most consoles are capable of running. This is exactly what happened to XCOM 2. XCOM EU and EW both released for a non-PC platform well after release, but it was excusable for the time because console tech at the time was able to run the game without any major problems (and was one of the reasons Halo Wars was technically limited in scope, due to the Xbox 360's low CPU power compared to PC's). XCOM 2, however, is a massive game, and the scope was foreseen from the start. They didn't want to make a console release because they would be limited by the pre-determined hardware.
The same can be said here, so keep that in mind.
Finally... actually, I can't think of a whole lot else. The major limiting factor is just the limitations of the consoles themselves. People tend to think that the major consoles are
the gaming platforms to play on, when they are absolutely destroyed by some of the master computers we see in the rooms of the most dedicated gamers. Just keep in mind that consoles have pre-determined hardware, and Larian is trying to do their hardest to make the best game possible.
I'm going to stop here. I've gone on long enough already
