Was main character that cast the spell all three times and the builds have been the same in all three tries.
As for the characters..
Main character(left side in character creation): Inquisitor with Air, Water, Scoundler and Wichcraft, dual wands. DEX:6 INT:7 CON:5 Speed:7 Perception:6 @ the time encounter.
Secondary character(right side in character creation): Wizard with Earth and Fire, staff user.
No other characters pressent.
I just find it weird that it didn't work in that encounter, it worked fine on encounters with those bombers later, like the one in the chest and the two at the light house, the two at the ruin just before the light house.. Used them to blow up the undead there, so.. Don't know about them.
