Seems like it was just an anomaly.. After both main characters died during my last "Honormode" with Wolgraf and Bairdotir still alive my game ended and I had to start over. The rain spell worked fine my forth time around. So.. I guess it was just a fluke.. But still.. Rain spell cast in Hiberheim should really be a mass freeze spell, the area apply chill every turn to everyone that doesn't have protection from it, if you think it's kinda OP, then make the NPC's cast protection spells against the cold.
Also.. One thing I find REALLY stupid with Honormode. Are those characters really that disloyal that they would just leave the main characters instead of reviving them when they go down?! Would be better if it was so that the entire party had to die for the game to end. Just up the price on the revive scrolls a little, the healing potions are already far between in loot and costly in shops.
