Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition Can I have more than 1 game at once?

Hi there, I've been playing D:OS solo for a while now to level 11.
Now I also want to start over at 0 together with a friend, but I don't want to lose my solo game. Is there an option to switch between my solo game and a multiplayer game which I both open on my PC? So when my friend leaves our common game, I can switch back to playing solo?

Or will I use all solo progress once I start a new game in multiplayer mode?
