To begin, i'm french,so i apologize for my bad english, but i will try to do my best to write Something you can understand without too much difficulty.
I am playing the game DIVINITY ORIGINAL SIN – ENHANCED EDITION , buyed on steam. A about 3-4 months ago, an updated with the lastest version of the game.
And i played this game during more than 350 hours, without any problems, or bugs, and i really loved thisgame ! (but of course, i will never play a game during so many hours, if a don’t like it, 😊 ! )
But, since a few days, i have on the game a new bug, that i never had before.
I try to explain it the best possible i can.
1/ it began for the first time when i tryed to speak to a NPC trader (a man who trade and sell some item, in the second town of the game). I never happend in Cyseal. The game crashed, and returned to Windows. And since this time ; the game do this more often, with different PNJ trader. But not always the same.
2/ i tryed to play an other past save , and the game did it again, again with different traders, but not always the same, and some of the traders always works without any problems.
3/ sometimes, the traders works correctly when i buy some items, but when they have new gold, and new item the next time, this time the game crash. So it’s very Strange, and i really don’t understand why, and what to do.
4/ i read on the web, that may be, it is because i craft too much, or that is because i buyed, or had too much items, and that there is a limit with that on this game. It seems to be very Strange, but it could be exlain that on my game, because in effect, i craft a lot, a lot, and a lot of item to sell them. And after 350 hours of game, it would be very possible that i had do this limit of item maximum. ((if it is really a bug that exist)..
==> If this bug could be because of the fact i crafted to much before, will it run without bug, if i play with a past save, and stop to craft? or what do you think i should do with this past save, to have more chance to don't have this crash again? stop buy to much items? stop sell them? craft them? try to keep less items into containers like chest?
I can't replay all the game, since the beginning because after so many hours (about 350hours), i really don't want to replay all the things i havd alrealy done :S.
So i write to you to ask you for help, and to know what to do to can continue to play this ery good game ? I really hope that you will read me, and answer me, because i’m totally lost now, and i don’t know what to do at all, to fix this crash.
Whit a last save, it seems to works during a few time, but it happens again very quickly again.I have more than 100 different saves on this game, but i can’t test all of them, and each time replay all the things i had already do, again, and again, to see if the crash happns again, or not.
Could you try to help me, and say me what to do ?
I would be so glad if you have a solution, or a way to play again without having this crash.
I’m so afraid to never discover the end of this game i like so much.
I always liked the game of the company larian. I always have respect for your company, because you do great game, and interesting RPG, and respect the customers. So i really trust you to take care about this bug-crash, and to try to fix it.
