Doesn't show game ownership in the Xbox store for myself or my friend. Both on the console and on the website it show I need to repurchase even though I have it installed on my Xbox and can play, I'm worried when I upgrade I won't be able to reinstall the game since the site doesn't think I own it.

You bought the digital version? Are you logged into the same account that the game was bought under?

You may need to check with the Xbox store support; they would have access to your account, and should be able to determine what the issue is.

yes I used the same account, and I contacted xbox store support, and Xbox game support they told me to reach out here.

my friend purchased it as well, and it shows he needs to purchase the game again as well too.

Unfortunately, we have no access at all to Xbox store (or Sony / Steam / GOG) accounts, and can not check or fix any account or transaction issues.
