this may be a silly question however.....right now I'm still at the beginning of the game and I'm playing a female surviver (if that makes any difference) and I'm at the point of trying to cure M(don't know the rest) madness. He just turned L(?) into an ice statue and has asked me to talk to M(?). I've also been informed on how to get into M(?)'s house however everytime I enter the well the screen doesn't change. Is it supposed to? All I can do is pullup the minimap and see that I'm in the well. I can only move 3 or 4 times and that's it. What am I not doing or doing that's incorrect? Sorry that I don't know the whole names of the NPC's, I've only played it a couple of times and haven't gotten familar with them yet. I hope you know where I'm at and what I am talking about.
