I've tried that, but unfortunately it only seems to work for areas on the top and left sides of the map: in my case, the final elven item is halfway down the right hand side and even using the pyramid to teleport to the other side of the wall (which I can do on both upper-left corners in the map) I can't pick up the errant object even when I'm standing right over it.
I think at this point maybe it's time to call it a day: I now seem to have a significant number of quest bugs confounding me. Shame, I was really enjoying it, but I guess I can go back to enjoying D:OS (and hopefully its successor) which were a lot less troublesome!
