I am trying to finish the original game before the new version comes out and re-installed it. Loaded my game and remembered why I quit playing it the first time....(spoilers beyond this point) I had declined to help Brandon because he seemed skeezy to me. Now my game is unplayable. I cannot get the box, I am forced to use the constantly offended Bairdotir, and after doing some reading I discovered I am screwed when I get to the point I need tiberium weapons to damage things.
How is it possible this bug still exists? I know there is a hex editor way to reset Brandon, but seriously this game breaking issue is still not fixed after so many years?
Anyone know any mods that fix this without me having to hex edit or start over?
This is making me consider whether I actually want to buy the new one.
