When my wife tries to join me, she just gets "server full."

Edit: If you both want to make a character, they have to join while you create your own. Otherwise you have to wait until someone joins your party in order for them to join.

Just curious, as I am going to be trying this when I get home tonight, are you doing splitscreen coop or using 2 PCs?

Planning to try a 4 player game tonight, my wife and I share a PC and my brother and his wife have a PC each. Will be interesting to see if we can all join in character creation or not.

We were doing separate PCs. Haven't tried split screen...not sure how it works! Might need controllers plugged in.

So if I want to join someone with my own created character I have to join them while they're creating theirs?

I have a silly question that you guys might be able to answer. With the amount I backed, I will receive two copies of D:OS 2. One of these copies is for a friend.
If we backed together, is it impossible to get two versions of early access? Or can I send him his key so we can play together on the early access?

Yes, you need to join while the game is in character creation to be able to create your own character. After character select finishes you can only play as an extra party member (if the players have extra NPCs in their party).

If you have 2 copies of the game (like me), yes, you can claim both keys from the vault and load them onto 2 different Steam accounts.
