I have noticed that putting shoes on a lizard does not change its appearance: to make each race more unique, why not disable that slot altogether? even better, why not make sure that certain races can only wear certain equipment pieces?

On this note, could you add support for Item Set Bonuses?

But then the Lizard loses an armor slot while the rest of the races keep it, making the lizard a lot weaker when comparing the races. Right?

It may have a stronger natural armour.

All the races have unique armor. What you wear as a lizard in leather, will be different for an elf in leather.

I'm not sure if they are keen on changing racial/lore auto equipment.

but could that really upset the fact that it loses a whole armor slot not to mention any kind of useful skills that boots can have (immune to ground effects for example)? and then if they do introduce item sets, and the set include boots, the lizard can never reach the max bonus because its missing that armor slot.
