I think to make the game more exciting and encourage exploration, or to simply do something other than fight, is to introduce mini games. Witcher 3 has Gwent, for example, DOS2 could have its own form of card collecting and put that into a competitive side game. Or maybe some game involving dice rolls? Would be a cool little side thing to do. smile

I'd rather see the money, workingtime and human ressource for minigames put inside the main game.

Alot of people love some of the mini-games in open world games, like Triple Triad FF8, Blitzball in FFX, Red Dead Redemption's poker, Witcher 3's Gwent and I would argue these mini-games are actually more fun and replayable than some of the mechanics you use in the 'main' game.
