Greetings everyone.
I would firstly like to congratulate the team on the successful initiation of Divinity Original Sin II into the Early Access portion of Steam. It is certainly something I've been looking forward to for quite some time now.
That said, I purchased the game very shortly after hearing about it's arrival to EA and after having done some research on what to expect with the new title. The 4 Player prospect really excited me and I knew that this would turn into something I would greatly enjoy with several friends of mine, as I had with Sin I in the past.
I would like to first state that I fully am aware that this is still an EA game, and I know that there is more to come, but one thing I have to ask outright, as it very well may determine how much use and joy I get out of this game.
Is it going to be possible, by release or potentially after a patch post-release, that I will be able to create a game for a single friend and myself (2 player game) and that he and I can both create 2 characters each for us to play, so that he has 2 custom characters and I have 2 custom characters? What I read gave the impression that this would be the case, but having played the game for a spell, it seems to be entirely not the case.
I would just like to confirm this one way or the other before I decide how to proceed with my excitement for this otherwise great looking title. It seems to me that, since I could create both characters in the original game (Single Player), that it wouldn't be overly difficult to allow for a Single Player to create 2, 3, or even 4 characters himself, or to allow 2 players to create 2 characters each and so on and so forth.
Thanks for taking the time to read my little topic here, I look forward to your replies :)
