So...Hi again everybody, and a big THANK YOU to SniperHF for assisting a total newbie with a problem I encountered!
I love the game, but also, I love the possibilities that the editor represents. When I saw that it HAD an editor, the storyteller inside me rolled over and opened a bloodshot eye, and at that point, I knew it was inevitable that I try my hand at it.
I'm a freelance writer by trade, so I work from home and have a weird schedule (mostly, that means I get to sleep late, work in my boxers, and spend the day watching Netflix while I'm "working").
When I'm not writing paying gigs to keep the lights on, I write fiction, including a fantasy collection (four books in all) called "Candle'Bre, The Reckoning."
The book series follows a civil war that erupts in an isolated Kingdom upon the assassination of the King, but as a means of setting the stage for the main story, I wrote a short story that detailed the foundation and formation of the Kingdom, two hundred years earlier. It is this story that I intend to base the mod around, and thus, the title of the mod.
"Untold Stories," will be...your story. An adventurer with perhaps the most humble origin story imaginable....
At any rate, for your enjoyment and consideration, I'm including the short story that the mod will be based around below, and I would love your input now, and as things continue to develop...things you'd like to see, if the story sparks an idea in your mind, etc.

One final thing to bear in mind is that Candle'Bre is an extremely magic poor world. There's just not a lot of it, nor many who can practice it, and the story will generally be reflective of that. Now, onto the story itself. For your consideration, I present,

Flight and Founding

And know ye, that these are the words of the HighFather:

Works and Deeds are to be performed always for the glory of the HighFather first, as a celebration of his gifts to you. The intellect to plan and design, and the skills of the hands to create works of wonder, beauty, and function. It is right and proper that these things be a boon to you, but never forget the commandment that they should, at all times and in all places, give honor and glory to the HighFather first, from whom all gifts spring. Only then will you walk in the path of righteousness.

To stray from the path of righteousness is to take for granted the comforts of hearth and home, or to celebrate your own cleverness. Never forget that J’honsa is the god of hardships and trials, and His People, His faithful must be ever vigilant against the sins of vanity, self importance, and complacency.

To think too highly of oneself is a failure to acknowledge that J’honsa provides all, including the abilities innate to all men. To grow too comfortable from the fruits of your own labor or from your own cleverness is to allow sin to take root in the heart, and J’honsa does not abide a sinner.
Those who forget this commandment shall suffer plagues born from the same cleverness that once provided comfort to the lives of men, and these shall be delivered by J’honsa’s own son, Ollux, who was cast out of Heaven for his own pride and vanity.
