well I get the O (combat camera) but still sometimes theres a lot on screen which can be a real mess.
Now, if you ask me how I would I fix it, I tell you that I would make things more transparent, less opaque in a certain radious of the characters.
You already have the clear bouble around the characters, well, I would add a second one that takes off from where the first one ends.
Also , as Johnny said, you could adjust the color selection of the characters and the enviroment.
