Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Dialogue window with Gratiana closes instantly

She asked me to fetch some Soul Jars "as many as possible" from Braccus Rex's vault, and I did that, but I can't talk to her, as the dialogue window closes immediately.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. Also of note, earlier in the questline when I attempted to grab her soul jar and place it in my bag, the interaction closed and nothing happened. I had to reload a recent save to actually get the soul jar. Reloading at the Sanctuary does not fix the Gratiana dialogue crash. Smashing the soul jar also doesn't do anything (release her soul with her saying she isn't done yet) but remove the jar from inventory.

Exactly the same problem, after getting the jars for her any time I try to speak with her the dialog box flashes up but closes instantly. I'm also having the exact same problem with Gareth when I try to speak with him in the shelter after saving him from the ruins.

Please email supportdos2@larian.com, with a description (or link to this topic) and a save there (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), and maybe a couple from earlier points in that quest line.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer you can zip file(s) and folder(s) by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipper) Folder'.
