Hi all, when I arrived at the armory and killed the Knights, the quest says that I rescued Gareth. However I found his dead body up the top, never even saw him alive...

From what I can tell it seems to be broken. Everyone at camp keeps asking if I've seen him yet, and my only option is to say that I haven't. I've also gone into the armory but all I got was the helm of Braccus. No weapons etc?

Wondering what went wrong, if this is common, and if I'll be able to finish the game without him. I've cleared the entire island except for Alexander, but he wrecks me pretty hard so far.

Please email supportdos2@larian.com, with a description (or link to this topic) and your latest save (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), and (if available) maybe a couple earlier saves, at different plot points during that quest.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer you can zip file(s) and/or folder(s) by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipper) Folder'.
