Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Whats with the black cat?

ran into a black cat on the beach shortly after starting play after a while of following me in a fugue state the cat became bugged and vanished from following me first it wandered around in a circle next to a source hound and then it vanished entirely. Though the dog on the beach still thinks its at my feet is this an unimplemented quest?
