Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems I FIXED MY BLACKOUT THIS IS WHAT I DID

I have Norton Works and in the Recycle Bin It keeps what is called protected files and you can restore them. So I looked through and restored everything that had anything to do with divine divinity there were more than 700 files and so I restored them all, figure was a last ditch effort as I had tryed everything else. Then did a run norton doctor let it repair any thing that needed. Then ask windows to do a check and repair on reboot. Then I rebooted. Then I had a saved game from 4/24 the day I got the patch. Well did go back about a couple of days of game play but the Blackout is gone and the game so far seems to be ok and all the towns and places I have been are back to normal. Do not know how to explain why maybe a tech here can. I am Sooooooo HAPPY!

you are a lucky fellow, unless you have previous saves, i think you will be S.O.L., anyway i started a new game, with all the info and maps i've got from these forums, my game is even more interesting than it was the first time!
