So i have problem with teleport stone <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> :

I go to Verdist and left 1 of my teleport stone in the rivertown map, then i update my path version to 1.33, then i return to Rivertown and my teleport ston disappeard <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />, but one thing is strange when i use skil "use piramid " teleports me to this place when my teleport stone was ?? what i have to do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> i must have 2 on them in my inventory maybe some cheats <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />?? please help my

Edwin, how many old saves do you have? The ones made before 22nd of April? I fear your saves are corrupt now, because of 1.33.
The best is: Backup your old saves (from 1.32 or 1.29) to another folder - then uninstall Divinity completely.
Defragment your partition - install Div 1.029 + download the new patch 1.34 from the 2nd of May. The support info still says 1.33 - but it was updated yesterday to 1.34 and has 10.3 MB
Again: install CD-ROM 1.029 + 1.34 = load one of your saves in there and then try out.

There is a download fix for teleporter stones - BUT: you can have other problems later on with quests etc. NOT because of this teleporter fix but because your whole save might be corrupt. if you still wish, I will post you the link to Raze's download fix.

If you choose to make a clean install: Shut down all background programs (Antivir, Internet, Firewall, icq etc) and make sure you have ADMIN rights (for Windows 2000 and XP)

My save are fine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and I trying your way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />, maybe i have to delete teleports stones with some program and copy it and it will be good <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />??

As I said, there is a download fix - but what will happen if you encounter other problems afterwards?

Take the TELEPORTER DOWNLOAD - but follow his steps exactly, ok? If you don't put back your inf.files afterwards = quest problems!!!!

a) delete Teleports position informations in game and copy telport stones and it works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />??
b) delete a) delete Teleports position informations in game, delete teloports and delete quest with Teleports and then make quest with Teleports Stones and it works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />??

Oh, dear, that sounds very complicated - as I read your first post: When did you install 1.33?
All saves BEFORE that are ok - so just back them up in a folder and do a clean install - copy one of them into your new game and play.
IF YOU INSTALL: Make sure you have ADMIN rights - otherwise you can have problems again, very important.

Hi EdwinPL,

Try to make a clean install. Also 1.29 + 1.34. Than use your original 1.29 Savegame. This should prevent your problem with the teleport-stones.

To re-install the game; zip or otherwise backup your saved games folder to another location first, just in case. Then un-install, re-boot, shut down all non essential programs (especially anti-virus), re-install the game, re-boot, shut down all non essential programs, install the patch, re-boot, shut down all non essential programs, start the game. This procedure is a bit over-cautious, but the best way to avoid install problems.

The 1.34 patch is available for download, but the web page will not be changed to reflect the updated patch until monday. The english version on the CD is 1.29; the german version requires a patch (v1.1) to get to 1.29 before installing the latest patch (v2.0). After that, saves from v1.32 and before should be fine.

Everything on the ground is saved in the world.* files, I believe. If you loaded a save before you lost the other teleporter stone, it should be fine now. Toss the teleporter stone you still have, and download another set of teleporter stones;

You got it; you probably only need to re-boot after un-installing, but it couldn't hurt to re-boot after installing the game/patches also, which would be more reliable.

If you have the english version of the game, that is the only update you need (the game version on the CD is v1.29).
If you have the german version of the game check here.

You installed the patch? Did you re-load a previous save, if you have one not too old?

If you still have a problem, zip your saved game folder (from '..\Divine Divinity\Run\savegames') and email it to me, or follow the procedure below to get another set;

No, I used a Polish dictionary.
Beznadziejny deleting teleport position information. Zachowac zepsuc. Cale zachowac w wersja 1.33 zepsuc. Jedynie zachowac 1.029 O.K.
