So me and a friend are in the process of finishing the game, (which has been an incredible journey thus far, cannot wait for the sequel), and during our adventure many laughs were had. A particular in-joke throughout our playthrough was centered around an item we called "The God Mug", or simply "The Mug".
This item looked to be no different than any consumable cup (bar some flavor text and colored font), except for that when it healed you after use... it did not consume - and also took no action points.
Needless to say, this mug was overpowered as ****. And we did cheese a few fights with it. When things seemed dark and all hope was lost - we turned to the mug. Needed a heal when we didn't want to use Jahan? "Pass me The Mug". The Mug was our secret weapon, it was our trump card; it was an extremely hilarious and ridiculously overpowered item that had no right to be what it was.
But why? why was it patched? why did you take our mug away from us Larian? I feel as if I've lost a member of our party. I feel cheated. I can only hope that we may find something like this in the next game, bugged out or not.
