The most important thing from my point of view is that the text, whichever form it is presented in, should clearly indicate the kind of response I am likely to get from the hearers. The style is far less important.
So far I have had no real issues with the text provided, which puts OS2 ahead of a high proportion of games I have played. The way in which the options are presented seems to encourage good writing so I am happy to see it continue to be used.
