I feel like some of the Source Skills that require Source Points are odd and underwhelming.
For example, Level 2 Scoundrel ability: Walk in Shadows. This costs 1 Source Point to do something pretty basic that my old characters in Divinity: Original Sin could do with ease. It doesn't quite make sense to me why it suddenly costs a Source Point for my new characters.
A secondary point I have for this is a cost analysis of this. For this ability in particular, is 3 rounds of invisibility worth Action Points, a Source Point, as well as 3 memory slots?
In my opinion, it is not. Invisibility breaks upon dealing damage, combined with another Rank 2 ability (Mortal Blow), I could do 500% more damage while Invisible, but that would take 6 memory slots, 4 action points, and 2 source points for a single extremely powerful attack I'd make in (most likely) 1 round. To which then, I would have a remaining 1 Source Point for either an Invisibility in 10 turns, or a 50% damage increase in 3 turns.
I feel like abilities like Mortal Blow are a great ability to have cost a Source Point.
Ultimately, it comes down to this: I feel like the developers need to go back through the skill list and add or remove Source Point costs based on the effect of the ability instead of the level of the ability.
