The only time I have ever been stunlocked to death was when I set it up by accident after a fight was halfway over... That wasn't even on my first playthrough either, just when I was fiddling with various strats involving zombie. I really, really strongly feel like this issue is being over-inflated by people who just don't want to take the time to use tactics regularly and, for those people, quick saves exist.
