So you are awesome, good for you, but we don't worry about people who are awesome, we worry about those who are casuals.
Nooooo! Casuals can play on Explorer mode. Anything higher, people gotta make the right choices or die.
That said (no longer responding to Kalrakh here), stunlock's not really a choice. It either happens to you, or you're doing it to them. 100 Magic Armor? How many hail strikes does that take to get through? One? Yeah, one. 100 Magic Armor is easy to burn through. And, you know, I can have magic armor in lieu of physical armor, but most gear has physical armor, and I'm more likely to pick gear based on stats than which type of armor it has. Of course, if you're low on physical armor, you can still get CC'd by knockdown (although not stunlocked).
But all the "git gud" commenters are completely ignoring the other major point: Players using CC. As I keep saying, with the current system, combat is too easy. I can enter a fight with 5 scattered enemies and have them all stunlocked on my first turn. This isn't really strategy. This is just going through the motions. It's like playing Final Fantasy or something. There are occasionally fights where enemies are immune to freezing and stun, but the rest of the time I could sleep through these fights. It's only hard if you're new and haven't learned to CC yet, or if you're doing some sort of self-enforced challenge (like the One Man Army challenge).
The presence of stunlock removes strategy from the game, not adds to it. Stunlock does not involve skill or tactics.
